Warning Against Idleness6 In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and sisters, to keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not live according to the teaching[a] you received from us. 7 For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you, 8 nor did we eat anyone’s food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden to any of you. 9 We did this, not because we do not have the right to such help, but in order to offer ourselves as a model for you to imitate. 10 For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: “The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.”
11 We hear that some among you are idle and disruptive. They are not busy; they are busybodies. 12 Such people we command and urge in the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and earn the food they eat. 13 And as for you, brothers and sisters, never tire of doing what is good.
14 Take special note of anyone who does not obey our instruction in this letter. Do not associate with them, in order that they may feel ashamed. 15 Yet do not regard them as an enemy, but warn them as you would a fellow believer.

In a generation or two, the US will ask itself: Who lost Europe?’
Here is the speech by Geert Wilders, Chairman, Party for Freedom, the Netherlands , at the Four Seasons, New York , introducing an Alliance of Patriots and announcing the Facing Jihad Conference in Jerusalem .
Dear friends,
Thank you very much for inviting me.
I come to America with a mission. All is not well in the old world. There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic. We might be in the final stages of the Islamization of Europe. This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself, it is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the West. The United States as the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe.
First I will describe the situation on the ground in Europe . Then, I will say a few things about Islam. To close I will tell you about a meeting in Jerusalem .
The Europe you know is changing.
You have probably seen the landmarks. But in all of these cities, sometimes a few blocks away from your tourist destination, there is another world. It is the world of the parallel society created by Muslim mass-migration.
All throughout Europe a new reality is rising: entire Muslim neighborhoods where very few indigenous people reside or are even seen. And if they are, they might regret it. This goes for the police as well. It’s the world of head scarves, where women walk around in figureless tents, with baby strollers and a group of children. Their husbands, or slaveholders if you prefer, walk three steps ahead. With mosques on many street corners. The shops have signs you and I cannot read. You will be hard-pressed to find any economic activity. These are Muslim ghettos controlled by religious fanatics. These are Muslim neighborhoods, and they are mushrooming in every city across Europe . These are the building-blocks for territorial control of increasingly larger portions of Europe , street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood, city by city.
There are now thousands of mosques throughout Europe . With larger congregations than there are in churches. And in every European city there are plans to build super-mosques that will dwarf every church in the region. Clearly, the signal is: we rule.
Many European cities are already one-quarter Muslim: just take Amsterdam , Marseille and Malmo in Sweden . In many cities the majority of the under-18 population is Muslim. Paris is now surrounded by a ring of Muslim neighborhoods. Mohammed is the most popular name among boys in many cities.
In some elementary schools in Amsterdam the farm can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult to Muslims.
Many state schools in Belgium and Denmark only serve halal food to all pupils. In once-tolerant Amsterdam gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims. Non-Muslim women routinely hear ‘whore, whore’. Satellite dishes are not pointed to local TV stations, but to stations in the country of origin.
In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin . The history of the Holocaust can no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity.
In England sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal system. Many neighborhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves. Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels , because he was drinking during the Ramadan.
Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II. French is now commonly spoken on the streets of Tel Aviv and Netanya , Israel . I could go on forever with stories like this. Stories about Islamization.
A total of fifty-four million Muslims now live in Europe . San Diego University recently calculated that a staggering 25 percent of the population in Europe will be Muslim just 12 years from now. Bernhard Lewis has predicted a Muslim majority by the end of this century.
Now these are just numbers. And the numbers would not be threatening if the Muslim-immigrants had a strong desire to assimilate. But there are few signs of that. The Pew Research Center reported that half of French Muslims see their loyalty to Islam as greater than their loyalty to France . One-third of French Muslims do not object to suicide attacks. The British Centre for Social Cohesion reported that one-third of British Muslim students are in favor of a worldwide caliphate. Muslims demand what they call ‘respect’. And this is how we give them respect. We have Muslim official state holidays.
The Christian-Democratic attorney general is willing to accept sharia in the Netherlands if there is a Muslim majority. We have cabinet members with passports from Morocco and Turkey .
Muslim demands are supported by unlawful behavior, ranging from petty crimes and random violence, for example against ambulance workers and bus drivers, to small-scale riots. Paris has seen its uprising in the low-income suburbs, the banlieus. I call the perpetrators ‘settlers’. Because that is what they are. They do not come to integrate into our societies; they come to integrate our society into their Dar-al-Islam. Therefore, they are settlers.
Much of this street violence I mentioned is directed exclusively against non-Muslims, forcing many native people to leave their neighborhoods, their cities, their countries. Moreover, Muslims are now a swing vote not to be ignored.
The second thing you need to know is the importance of Mohammed the prophet. His behavior is an example to all Muslims and cannot be criticized. Now, if Mohammed had been a man of peace, let us say like Ghandi and Mother Theresa wrapped in one, there would be no problem. But Mohammed was a warlord, a mass murderer, a pedophile, and had several marriages – at the same time. Islamic tradition tells us how he fought in battles, how he had his enemies murdered and even had prisoners of war executed. Mohammed himself slaughtered the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza. If it is good for Islam, it is good. If it is bad for Islam, it is bad.
Let no one fool you about Islam being a religion. Sure, it has a god, and a here-after, and 72 virgins. But in its essence Islam is a political ideology. It is a system that lays down detailed rules for society and the life of every person. Islam wants to dictate every aspect of life. Islam means ‘submission’. Islam is not compatible with freedom and democracy, because what it strives for is sharia. If you want to compare Islam to anything, compare it to communism or national-socialism, these are all totalitarian ideologies.
Now you know why Winston Churchill called Islam ‘the most retrograde force in the world’, and why he compared Mein Kampf to the Quran.
Many in Europe argue in favor of abandoning Israel in order to address the grievances of our Muslim minorities. But if Israel were, God forbid, to go down, it would not bring any solace to the West. It would not mean our Muslim minorities would all of a sudden change their behavior, and accept our values. On the contrary, the end of Israel would give enormous encouragement to the forces of Islam. They would, and rightly so, see the demise of Israel as proof that the West is weak, and doomed. The end of Israel would not mean the end of our problems with Islam, but only the beginning. It would mean the start of the final battle for world domination. If they can get Israel , they can get everything. So-called journalists volunteer to label any and all critics of Islamization as a ‘right-wing extremists’ or ‘racists’. In my country, the Netherlands , 60 percent of the population now sees the mass immigration of Muslims as the number one policy mistake since World War II. And another 60 percent sees Islam as the biggest threat. Yet there is a greater danger than terrorist attacks, the scenario of America as the last man standing. The lights may go out in Europe faster than you can imagine. An Islamic Europe means a Europe without freedom and democracy, an economic wasteland, an intellectual nightmare, and a loss of military might for America – as its allies will turn into enemies, enemies with atomic bombs. With an Islamic Europe, it would be up to America alone to preserve the heritage of Rome, Athens and Jerusalem .
Dear friends, liberty is the most precious of gifts. My generation never had to fight for this freedom, it was offered to us on a silver platter, by people who fought for it with their lives. All throughout Europe, American cemeteries remind us of the young boys who never made it home, and whose memory we cherish. My generation does not own this freedom; we are merely its custodians. We can only hand over this hard won liberty to Europe ‘s children in the same state in which it was offered to us. We cannot strike a deal with mullahs and imams. Future generations would never forgive us. We cannot squander our liberties. We simply do not have the right to do so.
We have to take the necessary action now to stop this Islamic stupidity from destroying the free world that we know.
Please take the time to read and understand what is written here, Please send it to every free person that you know, it is so very important.

CRITICAL LIFE LESSON .”Do you know how to catch wild pigs?”..
There was a chemistry professor in a large college that had some exchange students in the class. One day while the class was in the lab, the professor noticed one young man, an exchange student, who kept rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt.
The professor asked the young man what was the matter. The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying to overthrow his country’s government and install a new communist regime. In the midst of his story, he looked at the professor and asked a strange question. He asked: “Do you know how to catch wild pigs?”
The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line. The young man said that it was no joke. “You catch wild pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the ground. The pigs find it and begin to come every day to eat the free food”.
“When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another side of the fence”. “They get used to that and start to eat again.
You continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in the last side”. “The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to come through the gate to eat that free corn again. You then slam the gate on them and catch the whole herd”.
“Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept their captivity.”
The young man then told the professor that is exactly what he sees happening in America . The government keeps pushing us toward Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for unearned income, tax exemptions, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to plant crops (CRP), welfare entitlements, medicine, drugs, etc., while we continually lose our freedoms, just a little at a time as the government forces us to participate in many of these programs whether or not we want to.
One should always remember two truths: There is no such thing as a free lunch, and you can never hire someone to provide a service for you cheaper than you can do it yourself. If you see that all of this wonderful government “help” is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America, you might want to share this with your friends.
God help us all when the gate slams shut!
Quote for today: “The problems we face today are there because the people who work for a living are now outnumbered by those that vote for a living.”

“Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence to God.” –2 Corinthians 7:1
Is there anything good in the food we are eating, and the drinks we are consuming? Are we eating to live or living to eat. How many illnesses are we experiencing because of the processed foods and chemicals we consume? Are we consuming pills to compensate for poor eating habits?
What are we feeding our mind and spirit? Is there anything positive on TV or in the news paper or on your Facebook page? I am going to make a change to cut out the garbage that is infecting my body mind and spirit.
Consider the source in all things. Is what you are feeding your body mind and spirit from God or from Satin?
Are the words of your mouth and the meditations of your heart pleasing to God. I for one fall short but I am going to strive to change.

We all come from different backgrounds, with different life experiences, therefor we look at things differently. Sometimes looking at things from one angle or perspective distorts the truth. For example, if we are sitting across from each other at a table and I draw a huge 6 in the middle of the table from your angle it looks like a 9. If we are to grow as individuals and as a society, we must learn to communicate our prospective on issues and articulate to others why we believe what we believe. More importantly we must listen to the other’s perspectives and truly seek to understand where they are coming from and why they believe what they believe. The most important thing is for all parties to separate facts from opinions. A true leader will be able to listen to the input from all of the other parties before forming their opinion (This still may differ from another person’s opinion). In this way they can seek to completely understand everybody’s prospective and attempt to establish facts from opinions before sharing their opinion to the group.
What we are seeing more of today is a I’m right and you are wrong attitude that turns into name calling and group labeling that accomplishes nothing. Someone once asked me if I would jump out of an airplane without a parachute for $100,000. I said no. They then said I did not get all of the facts. They then told me the plane was on the ground and the large inflatable slide had been deployed. I made the wrong decision because I did not have all of the facts. I would jump under those conditions. Too many times we voice our opinion based on bits of information that are bias or misleading without getting all of the facts. I for one will admit I have fallen into this trap. Let us all take a breath and have a open discussion without the name calling and phobic labeling and have an open discussion and still be friends realizing we all come from different back grounds and have had different experiences. We have a lot of problems but the best opportunity we have to fix them is by working together not dividing us

Are The Words Discrimination and Judging Getting a Bad Rap?
When I think of the word discrimination I think of an old expression “He is a man of discriminating taste” meaning he is able to determine the quality of something. Other Words for discriminating are judging or discerning. The problem comes when you unfairly judge or discriminate. God calls us to Judge and Discern what is right in His eyes from what is wrong in His eyes. Martin Luther King said “Don’t judge me by the color of my skin but by the quality of my character. Notice he is saying it is OK to judge me but do it fairly. One of the most quoted messages about judging is: Matthew 7 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? In other words, Eric Clapton’s song with the lyrics “Before you accuse me take a look at yourself” So we should be careful and not unfairly judge people but we should still discern righteous behavior from sin. Jesus said first to love God with all of your heart, mind and soul and love your neighbor as yourself. In short we are all sinners and fall short. Read the scriptures and seek guidance and discernment from the Holy Spirit to judge good from evil behaviors. Judge the sin but love the sinner. Confess your sin to Jesus and receive his mercy and forgiveness. If you are unwilling to judge and discern what is good and evil in God’s eyes how can you confess the sin and ask for forgiveness? Here are several scriptures instructing us to discern.
Proverbs 18:15 The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out.
Genesis 41:33 “And now let Pharaoh look for a discerning and wise man and put him in charge of the land of Egypt.
Genesis 41:39 Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you, there is no one so discerning and wise as you.
2 Samuel 14:17 “And now your servant says, ‘May the word of my lord the king secure my inheritance, for my lord the king is like an angel of God in discerning good and evil. May the Lord your God be with you.’”
1 Kings 3:9 So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?”
1 Kings 3:12 I will do what you have asked. I will give you a wise and discerning heart, so that there will never have been anyone like you, nor will there ever be.
Proverbs 1:5 let the wise listen and add to their learning, and let the discerning get guidance—
Proverbs 8:9 To the discerning all of them are right; they are upright to those who have found knowledge.
Proverbs 10:13 Wisdom is found on the lips of the discerning, but a rod is for the back of one who has no sense.
Proverbs 14:6 The mocker seeks wisdom and finds none, but knowledge comes easily to the discerning.
Proverbs 14:33 Wisdom reposes in the heart of the discerning and even among fools she lets herself be known.
Proverbs 15:14 The discerning heart seeks knowledge, but the mouth of a fool feeds on folly.
Proverbs 16:21 The wise in heart are called discerning, and gracious words promote instruction.
Proverbs 17:10A rebuke impresses a discerning person more than a hundred lashes a fool.
Proverbs 17:24A discerning person keeps wisdom in view, but a fool’s eyes wander to the ends of the earth.
Proverbs 17:28 Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues.
Proverbs 18:15 The heart of the discerning acquires knowledge, for the ears of the wise seek it out.
Proverbs 19:25 Flog a mocker, and the simple will learn prudence; rebuke the discerning, and they will gain knowledge. A discerning son heeds instruction, but a companion of gluttons disgraces his father.
Proverbs 28:11 The rich are wise in their own eyes; one who is poor and discerning sees how deluded they are.
Daniel 2:21 He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning.
Hosea 14:9 Who is wise? Let them realize these things. Who is discerning? Let them understand. The ways of the Lord are right; the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious stumble in them.
1 Corinthians 11:29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.
1 Corinthians 11:31 But if we were more discerning with regard to ourselves, we would not come under such judgment.
